The AIM (Analytics, Investment, and Marketing Enablement) team, which is part of GCS Marketing, serves as the analytical engine for American Express’s Global Commercial business portfolio. Accelerating growth momentum, expanding profitability, and strengthening our value proposition are major goals for this organisation. It is the analytical engine that drives profitable business growth throughout GCS by providing advisory and innovative solutions. AIM in India is a high-performing team and a valuable partner in the Global Commercial Marketing industry. The team supports the GCS Marketing business by providing actionable insights that drive business strategy and growth. The incumbent in this post would collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and finance organisations to give relevant measurement analytics and actionable insights that aid in the development of growth initiatives. They would measure campaigns, analyse ROI, create up experiments, and provide critical insights to the business.

How do you want to make an impact in this role?

  • Developing cutting-edge commercial capabilities using data and dynamic intelligence to provide world-class analytics.
  • Developing data segmentation and optimisation tactics to target profitable prospects with appropriate treatments across channels.
  • Driving expertise in audience identification and custom targeting, leveraging Amex and Partner data assets.
  • Developing and nurturing cross-functional connections with partners throughout American Express to guarantee project prioritisation and implementation.
  • Evaluating new external data sources and introducing creative techniques to translate complex customer behavioural data into fresh data features.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject (Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Economics) or in a business sector.
  • Experience with data querying languages (such as Hive and SQL) and scripting languages (Python).
  • Strong analytical/conceptual thinking ability to solve unstructured and complex business challenges and explain significant findings to top leaders/stakeholders to impact business decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience starting and finishing analytical assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of managing many concurrent projects through collaboration across teams/geographies.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in analytics (1+ year with a Master’s degree).
  • Experience with large data programming languages such as Hive and Spark.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and within a matrix organisation, partnering with cross-functional teams and external vendors to produce solutions quickly.
  • Experience in acquisition analytics, statistics, and measurement analytics
  • Experience creating and running tests.
  • Background in commercial data and products.
  • Work experience in the relevant industry and domain.

Annual salary range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00, with bonuses and benefits.

The wage range listed above is what is expected for this position. Finally, when deciding your compensation, we will take into account your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
