Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with hospital standards, nursing service goals, and patient care objectives.

Deliver patient-centered care using the SHARE principles to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.

Create a compassionate environment by offering emotional, physical, and spiritual support to patients and their families.

Foster teamwork through effective communication and problem-solving with healthcare teams.

Collaborate with physicians and other team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Supervise and support assigned team members during shifts.

Qualifications:

Required:

Experience: A minimum of 2 years recent experience in a tertiary hospital setting (minimum 100 beds).

Licensure: Must have a U.S. Nursing License or successfully pass the NCLEX-RN Exam.

Language Proficiency:

IELTS Academic: 7 in Speaking and 6.5 Overall, OR

TOEFL iBT Academic: 26 in Speaking and 89 Overall, OR

OET (Occupational English Test), OR

Exempt by CGFNS Visa Screen Certificate (for Visa Sponsorship candidates).

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications as required by the unit (American Heart Association preferred).

Skills:

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

Basic computer skills.

General Summary:

As a Registered Nurse at AdventHealth Apopka, you will perform a wide variety of duties during your shift, contributing to the health and well-being of your patients. Your role includes working collaboratively with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to complete the nursing process and develop patient care plans. You will provide emotional, physical, and spiritual support to patients and their families while supervising and mentoring assigned team members. You will report directly to the Nurse Manager and charge nurses. Specific responsibilities may vary depending on the unit or department you are assigned to.
