We’re looking for an experienced and innovative engineering manager to collaborate with business and development teams in creating new system capabilities based on technical and functional specifications.
Key Qualifications:
– 4-8 years of experience in Java 8 or later, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SOAP web services.
– Strong background in application design, software development, and testing in an Agile environment.
– Experience with relational, in-memory, and NoSQL databases.
– Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs for high-volume clients.
– Familiarity with continuous integration tools and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
– Experience with version control systems like Git.
– Experience with asynchronous messaging systems such as Kafka.
– Familiarity with Atlassian software development and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
Educational Requirements:
– A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Knowledge of the financial industry.
– Experience with open-source frameworks, particularly maintaining or contributing to open-source projects.
– Strong communication skills for engaging with internal and external business partners.
Salary Range:
$85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits.
This range reflects the expected salary for this role, which may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and job-related considerations.
