Hospitalist – H-1B Visa Sponsorship Available | Indiana University Health Physicians, Carmel, IN

Indiana University Health Physicians invites applications for a Hospitalist position at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, Indiana—one of the most desirable and fastest-growing suburbs in the Midwest.

About the Role

This full-time role follows a 7-on/7-off daytime schedule and offers an opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care within a leading healthcare system. The position includes admitting patients to appropriate levels of care, performing or supervising clinical services, collaborating with attending physicians and consultants, and supporting Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as needed. You may also choose to participate in medical education as an assistant or associate professor at the IU School of Medicine.

Key Details

  • Full-time hospitalist role with a 7-on/7-off daytime rotation
  • Average patient volume: 15–16 per physician
  • 100% inpatient responsibilities
  • Opportunity to teach medical students
  • Dual employment through IU School of Medicine with a competitive compensation and benefits package
  • Take transfer center calls and manage referred patients

Qualifications

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
