The Role

The EA‑Architecture‑As‑Code team is seeking a Staff Engineer who can design, develop, and optimize frameworks that empower developers to build secure, scalable applications. This position combines hands‑on engineering, architectural leadership, and mentorship to help shape enterprise‑scale technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Build & Optimize: Develop and release innovative framework features ensuring speed, scalability, and security across applications.
• Architectural Leadership: Drive technical designs, participate in architecture reviews, and guide the evolution of frameworks and infrastructure.
• Mentorship: Coach and inspire colleagues, fostering collaboration and technical growth across teams.
• Cloud & Serverless: Create solutions tailored for modern cloud platforms and FaaS models (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, GCP Functions).
• Problem‑Solving: Tackle complex engineering challenges, influence technical direction, and focus on end‑user experience and business value.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 6+ years of active engineering experience in large‑scale, enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, One‑App, plus back‑end technologies such as Node.js, Java, SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, event‑driven and data‑centric design.
• Hands‑on experience deploying applications in serverless environments.
• Proven success in contributing to or building core frameworks, libraries, or enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, influence, and align technology with business objectives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Deployment and architecture knowledge across AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.
• Understanding of GraphQL frameworks.

• Base Salary: $170,000 – $255,000 annually (based on experience and location).
