Salary Range: $149,000 – $193,000 per year + equity + annual bonus + benefits

About the Role

Our Seller Services Team is dedicated to helping creative sellers succeed at every stage of their journey. We focus on building trust, improving seller experiences, and fostering growth. In this role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing the onboarding process for new sellers, collaborating closely with engineering, research, analytics, marketing, and product management teams.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Product Design Director for Seller Services. Candidates based in the U.S. are welcome to apply. Those living near our Brooklyn Office Hub may be given priority consideration and could be expected to attend in-office one to two days per week.

What You’ll Do

• Lead or guide your squad, ensuring collaboration and progress toward shared goals.
• Facilitate discovery and ideation workshops to align teams, design experiments, track outcomes, and refine strategies.
• Design intuitive user flows and create polished, interactive prototypes aligned with our roadmap.
• Contribute to and shape our design systems to ensure scalability and consistency.
• Present your work to peers and leadership, integrating feedback into final solutions.
• Mentor fellow designers, offering actionable, constructive feedback.
• Support onboarding and promote a collaborative, engaged team culture.

About the Team

Etsy product designers work within small, cross-functional squads—usually with a product manager, 4–6 engineers, a researcher, and a data analyst. Each squad owns a unique slice of the customer experience, from identifying problems to delivering tested solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional product design experience.
• A strong portfolio showing mastery of design fundamentals—visual hierarchy, interaction design, branding, and system thinking.
• Experience designing for native mobile platforms (iOS and Android) with an understanding of platform-specific interaction patterns.
• Proven track record collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver measurable results.
• Ability to design end-to-end flows, produce high-quality prototypes, and apply design systems effectively.
• Strong communication skills—able to clearly present ideas and incorporate feedback.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to define solutions in open-ended problem spaces.
• A positive, collaborative approach that uplifts team culture.
