About the Role

As a key member of our Indianapolis team, you’ll work on exciting projects with top experts in the state. With over 80 years of experience in Indiana and a reputation as a leading design partner with INDOT, we offer unparalleled career growth and technical development opportunities.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects
• Collaborate with the project team to research, develop, and deliver project designs
• Apply engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria to projects of varying size and complexity
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software (e.g., Bentley Open Roads Designer)
• Contribute to the successful delivery of diverse projects for our clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned work within schedule and hours provided
• Prepare and modify project reports, plans, designs, and calculations
• Develop project quantities and assist with cost estimates
• Provide administrative support to engineering teams
• Conduct research, data collection, and field investigations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 1+ year of relevant experience

What You’ll Bring

• Proficiency in applying engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MicroStation, and/or Open Roads Designer
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in Engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• Experience with MicroStation and/or Open Roads Designer
