Role Overview

The Roadway Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and delivery of roadway and transportation projects across Indiana. This position involves leading cross-functional teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules that align with company objectives and client needs
• Serve as the primary client contact, managing communications, expectations, and project progress
• Prepare proposals, technical reports, and contract documentation
• Coordinate and supervise design and engineering teams while mentoring junior staff
• Support business development efforts by building client relationships and preparing presentations
• Track project performance, monitor budgets, and identify areas for process improvement
• Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining team members for long-term project success

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience in roadway or transportation projects
• At least two years of project management or deputy project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering
• Fourteen or more years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification
