Your Opportunity: AM Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a dynamic AM Restaurant Manager to lead the vibrant morning operations at Adorn Bar & Restaurant. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience during the crucial breakfast period, guiding your team with excellence, and driving the success of our Food & Beverage division.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead with Vision: Provide strategic direction, coaching, and mentorship to the breakfast team. Foster a positive, inclusive culture where employees feel valued and empowered to excel.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure flawless execution of the breakfast service. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout morning service.
  • Performance Driver: Set clear performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions. Stay ahead of industry trends to enhance our offerings.
  • Talent Champion: Proactively engage in recruitment, selection, and retention. Develop and support your team through training, feedback, and career growth opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Partner: Build strong relationships across the hotel (e.g., Rooms, Spa, Events) to ensure seamless service and collaborative success.
  • Profitability Steward: Manage labor costs, operating expenses, inventory, and budgets effectively through strategic scheduling, menu optimization, and purchasing.
  • Guest Experience Guardian: Ensure the Adorn environment meets our high standards (ambiance, music, lighting, crowd flow) for every guest. Support front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional personalized service.
  • Communicator & Planner: Conduct pre-shift briefings to inform staff of updates and priorities. Attend operational meetings to coordinate departments and drive continuous improvement.
  • Problem Solver: Address operational challenges swiftly and effectively, ensuring smooth service flow.
  • Positive Influence: Contribute to a welcoming, energetic, and supportive workplace culture.

What We Look For

  • Proven Leadership: Minimum of 5 years of experience in morning breakfast management, preferably in a high-end hospitality setting.
  • Food & Beverage Expertise: Thorough knowledge of food preparation, menu development, wine, and spirits.
  • Education: A college degree is preferred.
  • Certifications: Must hold a current Illinois Food Handlers Certificate and be TiPS certified.

Skills:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple tasks.

Work Authorization: Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Current Four Seasons managers in a qualifying role may be eligible for L-1 visa sponsorship.
