About the Role

The Manager, U.S. Advertiser Analytics, will lead the analytical strategy that drives our partnerships with merchants and advertisers. This role supports the growth of our Card-Link Offer (CLO) and Amex Offers programs by using data insights to demonstrate campaign value, improve marketing effectiveness, and strengthen advertiser relationships. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in business development, customer success, and product management to identify growth opportunities, assess performance, and influence decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical discussions with key advertisers and merchants, providing data-driven insights, ROI forecasts, and campaign performance reports.
  • Identify potential growth areas and new market segments that can enhance campaign outcomes and customer engagement.
  • Translate business goals and marketing KPIs into measurable objectives using first-, second-, and third-party data.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to align analytical findings with Amex Offers’ business objectives.
  • Deliver post-campaign evaluations highlighting incremental performance, customer behavior trends, and return on investment.
  • Conduct A/B testing and incrementality studies to assess marketing impact and optimize future campaigns.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and external clients in a clear and structured way.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of six years’ experience in analytics, consulting, or data science roles, preferably in advertising technology, payments, or loyalty marketing.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to convert data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker; knowledge of Python is an advantage.
  • Experience collaborating with commercial or sales teams in a data-driven business environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $103,750 to $174,750, depending on experience and location.
