Ford Motor Company is shaping the future of mobility through innovation, technology, and a strong commitment to sustainability. Every day, our teams around the world work to build smarter, cleaner, and more efficient ways to move people and goods. Join us and help define the next chapter in the evolution of transportation.

The Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) division leads Ford’s mission to create a fully electric and connected future. This team combines creativity, technology, and customer insight to deliver exceptional electric vehicle experiences. If you want to help build the future of transportation while growing your career with one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands, we’d love to have you on board.

Position Overview

We are hiring a Senior Business Architect – Transformation Lead to join Ford’s ADVEV group in the United States. In this key role, you will guide strategic business and technology transformations that enable new capabilities supporting our electric vehicle objectives. You’ll design operating models, streamline processes, and lead cross-functional collaboration that bridges EVDD innovations with Ford’s existing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver large-scale transformation initiatives to enhance ADVEV business capabilities.
  • Partner with Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Define business problems, develop future-state process models, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Drive decision-making through strategic analysis, data insights, and clear communication.
  • Apply organizational change management to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement throughout project lifecycles.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of five years in business architecture, transformation, or consulting within complex product environments—automotive experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of PLM, ERP, and MES systems (3DX/Catia experience beneficial).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Skilled in requirements management, documentation, and traceability.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management, virtual/physical validation, and supply chain operations.

At Ford, we value potential and passion. If your experience looks a bit different from what we’ve described, but you believe you can bring unique value to our team, we encourage you to apply.

What we offer

At Ford, you can choose how your career evolves—whether that means expanding globally, growing as a leader, or developing new technical expertise. Our benefits include:

  • Immediate medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage
  • Paid parental leave, family care days, and flexible work programs
  • Fertility, adoption, and surrogacy assistance
  • Tuition reimbursement and employee vehicle discounts
  • Paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day
  • Volunteer time off and community service opportunities

This position is salaried, with grades ranging from 6 to 8 based on experience. For full details on pay and benefits, visit Ford Careers.
