Job Description

Overview

Join our team to build and run simple, effective quality systems. You’ll write and maintain procedures, solve problems at the root, qualify new parts and processes, and audit how work gets done so products meet standards every time.

What you’ll do

• Own and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality instructions.
• Approve new part setups for production once instructions and records are complete and accurate.
• Lead and support preventive and corrective actions; use root cause analysis and problem‑solving tools to close issues.
• Partner closely with Manufacturing Engineering and coordinate cross‑functional teams to test, analyze, and improve processes.
• Run process audits, document results, and track actions to closure.
• Apply and uphold quality standards, guidelines, and programs in your assigned area.
• Drive work independently and deliver clear, practical solutions.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable working with operations, maintenance, planning, EHS, and vendors/contractors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to analyze data with tools such as Excel, Minitab, Tableau, or similar.
• Able to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, snap gauges, etc.); comfortable with metric measurements.

Bonus Points

• Experience in manufacturing parts with complex specifications.
• Knowledge of quality systems and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, core quality methods).
• Experience with SAP.

Work Authorization

• Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.
• Current Siemens Energy employees with existing visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
